We’re all the heroine of our own story and we deserve our Happy Ever After.
Sometimes we need an escape from the real world in the land of books. I know – I go there a lot.
Books have the power to change the world, not only by reflecting the past or present back at us but by allowing us to dream of better. We learn from the experiences of the characters. Books influence what we think of as normal and create a space to challenge whether we deserve better.
That’s why I think that romance underestimates its power to make the world a better place.
