Brontë is an innocent paralegal who has run away from the big city back to her small town. Marcus is a big shot lawyer who has relocated to said small town in pursuit of Brontë. Brontë is annoyed at Marcus turning up, he was one of the reasons she fled to begin with. Despite Bronte’s resistance, can Marcus negotiate his way into her life?
I love this cute little town where everything’s in walking distance, including the office, the diner and the library. I love that Brontë gets so absorbed in her work, her hobby of knitting jumpers with cheesy jokes on them, and her fan girl view of Marcus.
This book is just so cute. His nickname for her is teapot. And there’s no tea without steam!

Will it change the world?
Let’s all live in this town, but without cameras in the library. That’s all I’m saying.
