Textual Relations by Roxie Noir

Max – not his real name – and Lola – not her real name – met online and have been having filthy video phone sex for several months. They avoid sharing their faces and voices to protect their anonymity, but haven’t taken it further as they don’t want to scare off their long distance lover.

James has a crush on the new maths teacher at the school where he teaches. And Sadie has a crush on James. Would it be wrong to start something with James, given her long standing arrangement with Max?

This book a a short, sharp shot of filth. It’s full of Max and Lola’s remote antics; they’re having the hottest sex of their lives and they’re not even in the same building. In such a short book (60 pages) you still get that they care about the other, how well suited they are and how much they make eachother laugh. The plot is predictable but I was still on tenterhooks seeing how it would unfold.

I really hope no one takes up phone sex with random internet dudes after reading this. I’m sure in real life it doesn’t turn out like this!
