Evelyn is the quiet fiancée of a DEA agent, who has moved to Mexico City to help further his career. Massimo is a ruthless Italian crime boss in the city to agree new terms with Mexican and Colombian cartels.
One look at Evelyn and Massimo is obsessed. One look at Massimo and Evelyn is having sexy dreams, the likes of which her fiancé has never inspired, awake or asleep.
Evelyn is caring and vulnerable, but also stoic. Massimo is a dangerous and violent, but also extremely protective. We’re drawn into his nefarious, action packed world – enemies and equally volatile friends, killings and stray bullets threaten.
Should Evelyn compromise her morals and freedom in exchange for her safety and the man she’s slowly falling for?
And could anyone else make her feel like she does in his bed? No. Oh my god no. The lust and desire is palpable. The sex is desperate and hungry. Massimo is dominant and filthy.
This book is off the charts HOT! 🔥🔥🔥

Will it change the world?
There is devastating wealth inequality in the villages in the book – Massimo doesn’t respect the people who don’t take what they’re entitled to by force. He seems to see it as their failure that they don’t fight back against the slow violence of poverty (which I would argue is inflicted by the wealthy hoarding resources… but I don’t think I’d be up for a debate on the structure of the global economy with Massimo 😅). Becoming violent and rich yourself and allowing the same things to continue doesn’t solve it for other people, however great at sex you are.
And now I’ll run for cover…
